Articulation Therapy

Treatment for apraxia, phonological processing and other speech sound development delays

Trouble with articulation (a child's ability to pronounce words and sounds) can range from difficulty with a single sound, like "R" or "S," to many speech sound errors which greatly affect a child's ability to be understood. I use a combination of treatment approaches tailored to your child's individual needs and learning style in order to decrease speech sound errors and increase intelligibility.

Language Skills Therapy

Improving vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension

Children with language delays are impacted in both school and social settings, leading to low grades, decreased confidence, and frustration. Through language therapy, children are better able to succeed in school and participate in age appropriate activities with peers.

Literacy Intervention

Help for struggling readers

Language, speech, and reading go hand in hand, making a speech therapist uniquely suited to assist struggling readers in their ability to both decode and understand written language. Using a structured literacy program based in Orton-Gillingham methodology, students will systematically learn letter patterns and strategies for successful reading while also boosting their vocabulary and comprehension skills.
